In my bartering I got both types of controls (cables behind, and in front of the mounting panel). I decided to use the cables in front box because it had the tilt/trim switch on the handle. Not wanting the exposed cables, here is what I came up with. All this will get covered with closed cell foam and vinyl. The control box panel will get covered and bolt on the back. All of my SS fasteners are epoxied into the panel.
