Picked up a 1988 17' Bayliner centre console in April which I cleaned up and found a late 70s Chrysler 105 to put on it. Having set the timing (thanks Frank for the video!) and sorted out the fuel line problems, the motor runs well, but I have shifting problems.

The core of the problem is that I have a two lever Morse binnacle from (I think) a Volvo I/O and the cable throw is wrong. I tried cutting and re-threading the ends which got me closer, but I can either get neutral+forward or neutral+reverse. I think there's just not enough throw in the cable and I need to just buyt the right one.

Throttle works fine, it's just the shift that's a problem.

So... I think it's this one: http://www.iboats.com/CONTROL-CABLE-3300-10FT-Teleflex-Marine/dm/view_id.930031 (CC3300) just hoping for confirmation.

Anyone able to confirm before I order?

Thanks!
