Control cables for a '77 Johnson/Evinrude

Hi, First I must say thanks for all the help you guys (and maybe girls) have given me over the past 6 months!<br /><br />I am after some new control cables for my 140hp '77 Johnson to finished the refit of the boat. All the books seem to list "new style 79 and up"<br />Any idea where I can get some to fit my motor and controls?<br />Thanks as always.<br />Dave

Hi lake-time, Most marine retailers can get the cables you are looking for, most cable manufacturers make a replacement cable, if you have a problem, let me know, I can get them for you.
