Control Cables

Looking for a set of control cables for a 1981 35 HP Johnson outboard, the only cables I can find from the local dealer are $100.00 for a used set. <br />Does anybody have an old usefull set they'd like to sell for a reasonable price?<br /><br />Jerry

Right here on iBoats -- and they will be new. If you don't want new try ebay.

I'd stay away from used cables. $100 is outrageous unless they include the used control. New is in the $30 ea ballpark for factory stuff. Aftermarket cables are a tad cheaper. Do you know the length you need?

I actually need the control box and cables, should have been more specific. Most of the units I see on E-bay go for about $100 for the set, but your never sure what your buying.<br /><br />The cable length would be about 12'<br /><br />Thanks for responding.<br /><br />Jerry
