Control Grease??

I was just messing with my controls and they are super hard, the grease that is in there is more like molasses, if I clean this crap all out, what can I put back in to keep everything lubed ???

Waterproof marine grease. Everybody has it, even Wal-Mart.

Make sure your control cables are not the cause of your porblem.

Thanks, its not the cables, the inside of the control is thick with that crap, and like I said it is like Molasses, dont move easy unless its warm and the controls dont get to warm to fast. What would you guys recomend to clean the old stuff out with??

Yup use the same grease you use on your bearings and be really carefull pulling the control aprt, there si alot of stuff in there and it needs to be reassembled exactly right.
