Control parts for 1954 Big Twin

Setting up the remote controls i need a couple parts.

1. nylon slid for the controls. the pic below shows the missing slide. The control is grundgy but can be cleaned up. I need a slide for the throttle.

2. I need a cable end for the throttle. The pic shows the existing slide.

Teleflex makes new cables. They're actually pretty cheap.

You need the pre-79 OMC type.

on check ebay for a parts controller. i beleive either of these will work as replacement of parts:

There are a couple on ebay right now. One guy answered when I asked the question. I have also tried the used motor guys with no luck yet. I think ebay is probably the best bet.

No, but he does need a cable. And as you know you might as well get new ones rather than messing around with old random length ones.

For cables, you need Teleflex "Johnson®/Evinrude® pre-1979 CC170xx (400 type)" where the "xx" is the length you need.
