Rermoving 1994 Johnson 40hp 2-stroke from '95 Gregor Seahawk G4. What is the proper way to dissconnect remote cables? From the control box or the motor? Sure wish the cables were not run through the inside of the sidewall. HA! 1st time I've removed motor so any tips sure appreciated....Thanks, Bill

take your cowl off, shoot a picture of the cables connected at the motor. then disconnect. the picture is for your reference to put things back.
