Hi guys, I just bought a 1956 30 hp evinrude, well bought it 3 wks ago just got it yesterday, from a guy in texas and cables he sent with the motor are about 8' to long. Are cables for these old motors and controls availible in shorter lenghts? I have found some new that fit 1979 and up but have not been able to find the replacements for the older ones. I don't really care for ebay. Got shafted before don't care to do it again. Anyone know where I might find these? thanks for your help.
