Re: Controls and Motor Compatability?

The controls will work. The engine weighs 170 lbs it does have TNT and that adds weight do to the power trim and the heavier mounting brackets. It is a long shaft 20" not a short shaft as the add says. The oil tank and the mixing chamber is still hooked up that will need to be ditched before you run the outboard you will want to premix 50:1. The oiling system used on the small triples was garbage. Check the compression to make sure it is good and if it is you should have no problems with it.

How much would the tilt and trim system be for this motor? Is there anyway to just not use it and change it to a stationary? I am new to the Johnsons. Thanks guys I appreciate it.
