Controls for a 81' 80hp merc...

Boat has the ign. key switch in the dash currently that is original to the 81' boat/motor. I need to upgrade the controls as I am adding a oem Merc power tilt/trim. Not having any background with this stuff what heritage/style controls should I be looking for that do not have the ignition key integrated but offer the PTT and are considered decent?

I think the type of PTT system that is "standard" with your motor used a dash mounted 3-button control panel. Should not impact your existing control.
