convert 1970 Merc 20hp from manual to electric start

Can this be done? If so, any idea where I may find an instruction manual for this process? Parts needed? I have no idea where to start!

you'd have to start with a cheap parts motor to use all the parts, rather than buying new or even used piece by piece it wouldnt be worth it.

i have the motor....just dont have the pull starter assembly. Just wondering if it could be beneficial to keep the money I would spend on it and put it towards the parts for the electric start.

I'd still want the pull start for when your battery is dead. Look on eBay.
