Hi all,
I've got a Garmin Fishfinder 400c, with what I believe is an airmar B117 with 20 degree tilt transducer. It has a six pin plug, though looks like only three wires are fitted in the cable.
I've recently acquired a Raymarine E7D. The boat's only just gone back in the water, so I'm hoping to re-use the transducer for this season, then maybe upgrade the transducer for next year.
Two questions:
1) Is there an adaptor cable to make the current transducer work with the Raymarine? Any decent sources from the UK?
2) What transducer is going to give me the best results when I upgrade? ideally, I'd like to re-use the same hole I've cut for the B117 unit. Usage is pretty shallow salt water, for fishing, threading in between rocks, occasional beaching of the boat, etc (Boat is a 23ft sports cruiser with V6 inboard, good for ~34kts)
Thanks in advance!
