Converting 4hp back to a short shaft .

I have a 1971 4hp Evinrude that I had converted to a long shaft many years ago for a sailboat kicker. I would like to convert it back to a short shaft. Can someone tell me how to do this and if any extra parts are needed.

You can just take the shaft extention they put in there out, you might need a new drive shaft, but it could be that they just added a extention on that aswell that I doubt, you will just need to check it out ...
