Either you'd have to come up with an extension kit, or pull the powerhead and install on an XLS mid-section and longer-shafted lower unit. Or have your lower unit disassembled and an XLS driveshaft installed, along with the 5" extension housing or an XLS mid-section.
It'd have to be an awfully good deal to make you want to do that, though. Either way it's gonna be rather $$$$.

It would require you to change driveshaft to a 20"lenght,swap midsection and steering arm assy,really a lot of work and parts. It would be cheaper to just install a 4" jackplate and raise motor to proper height.
thanks guy's,I have a Hydrolic jack plate on my flat's boat.6-in. set back,8-in. rise.I knew it would be a pain to do.I guess I could give it a try,to see if i could run in a foot of water still.Motor is a deal,2003 but has a knew 2005 powerhead low hrs.,it's on a Bayliner,I might buy the boat and motor together,than sell boat.Can't beat $3,000!Thanks!
