Would someone here explain why they all came rushing onto the shore like that? I wonder if it happens often, because the folks pulling them back in did not seem particularly shocked by the scene. They just did what was necessary without drama.

I'm not sure in this case but I know that dolphins sometimes chase schools of fish to the shore and then get stranded.

I would love to have been there to witness this.
