Can someone advise on the path of the cooling water after it leaves the watertube in the center of the exhaust extension? I will guess it cools the cylinders (number six first) as it travels up to the number one cylinder, then splits such that some water goes to the Cylinder head and some goes to the exhaust cover. I will also guess that the water that cooled the cylinder head passes out the grating above the propeller, and the water that cooled the exhaust passes out the prop and upper exhaust relief ports. It this correct? Also another "hot" question is when does the water cool the inner exhaust cover, which is mounted on the exhaust ports?

hey chris, you basically awnsered all of your own questions correctly man, but i can see that you are curious, as for the water cooling the exaust cover, it always is cooling the exaust cove, because if it didnt, it would get extremely hot man! hope this helps!

The water comes in and cools the exhaust plates FIRST, then once that fills to the top, the exhaust plates spill over into the block area.

The main cylinder block area fills from the TOP not the bottom.

-W (correcting misinformation in a spare second)
