I have posted this here and on the engine board.Any help wopld be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys
I know this topic has come up before. I did a search and found the post from Capt Bob back in April with a similar problem. When I bought the boat and motor 65 hp hydo assist shift model #65373R the powerpack, recifier and # 2 coil were missing( all have been replaced with new parts) I have no spak on any of the cylinders. Did spark test with screwdriver grounded to powerhead. I have diconnected the kill wire from the switch and powerpack still no spark. I diconnected the rectifer as suggested in the earlier still no spark. Performed sensor low ohm test all read 0.02 at 90 degrees. Performed high ohm thest had open between ground and lead. I do not have the S-80 or M-80 that Sealoc calls for. I did diconnect charge coil wires from pack and connected to my meter (it does not have peak hold) I did see voltage go up to about 30 then go to zero.
I know this is a long post just want to give as much infomation as possible. Battery was purchased new in Feb show a 12.96 volt charge. did not do a load test on a new battery.

Where do I go from here any help would be great. This is a great place for infomation.

Hugh h_turner@hotmail.com
