core plug numbers

I just came into a 1995 Johnson 48 HP. The lower unit shows extreme wear. deep groves on the prop shaft, gears worn out. Tilt warn out. Power head looks great. leak down tests like new. Almost no slack in the bearings. Seems like a new power head. Shiny paint. ( black) Question is. Would the numbers on the core plugs give any info? ( G3899537)

The core plug numbers look like it had a replace power head at one time.
