correct anchor size 28 Voyager

My buddy just purchased a 1986 28' Voyager. It has a little tiny anchor(doesnt even fit pulpit properly) Can anyone tell me what size anchor came with these boats?? Thanx Dan

I have an 1988 28' Carver Voyager and I use a West Marine "Traditional Anchor" 22lb. Stock# 439950 $67.00.

My water is mostly small rocks, lobsta traps and mudd. Holds well. The only thing I would change is to drill a hole in the front of the anchor and lift from this when I bring the anchor back up instead of trying to pry it out of the mudd. Seems if you pulled on the top it would back out instead of ripping up what it's hooked to..
