correct oil for yam 9.9 4 stroke

now own a very lightly used 98 yam 9.9 4 st but no book. What oil to use and how often to change

I have a 2001 Yamaha 4 stroke and here is what the manual says, Oil Cap.(without filter 1 US qt). It goes on to say, 4-stroke motor oil, SE,SF, SG, SH, 10W-30, 10W-40). Change oil after the first 10 hours of operation, and every 100 hours or at 6-month intervals. Change filter every 200 hours or 1 year. Hope this helps.
