just acquired a 9hp West Bend, which I believe to be a 1965, may be wrong, but from what I can find online, its the only year they made a 9hp, I did see it running using a 50-1 mix, but not sure if that is the correct mixture. Want it to last, so don't want to use the wrong mix, most things I have read say go 50-1, but have had a few say 20-1, any other ideas, if not 50-1, and why. Thanks

If I had that West Bend I would run it on 24:1 in absence of documentation to the contrary.

Just curious, but I if do choose run 24-1, and say it is supposed to actually be 50-1, what if any damage, problems etc might I expect, Thanks

5 1/2,6, 7 1/2, 8 and 9 Are all 16:1 1/2 pt of TCW3 to a gallon.
Generically speaking 50:1 didn't begin to appear until about 64.
