Re: correct prodeure for testing hydraulic trim and tilt cylinder
Tilt the unit full up and set the safety catch. Remove the fill plug and the fluid should be to the bottom of the threads. If not add fluid, install plug and be certain it is tight. then operate through a couple of cycles and repeat the procedure to be certain the fluid level is still OK.
Be extra careful that the safety latch is in place before removing plug or you could have an awful mess.
