Is there an accurate way to determine the correct prop? I own a Savage Envoy, a 13.5 foot runabout that has a 78 Rude 70hp 2 str. Usually 2 up with 50 litres of fuel in the bow and the usual fishing gear, esky 2.5hp Yamaha 4str spare on the back. Don't pull skiers, occasional float tube with 13 year old son. Looking for top speed. Many thanks.

Re: Correct prop?

John, for a base-line, we need a tach to determine WOT RPM with the prop you have been running. Please list the prop make, model and size, as well as the mounting of the engine...is it directly on the transom in the lowest mounting position??
