Correct Prop

How do I know if I have the correct prop fitted,just bought 1995 Fletcher with 3Litre LX
Engine Serial Number OF554183
Transom Serial Number OF576974
Drive Serial Number OF530821

From the above could I find out my drive gear ratio & correct prop

If there is a fletcher site you might be able to find out what prop it was shipped with but that could have changed over the years.The prop size usually appears on the barrel or under the prop nut.The right prop is that which allows the motor to operate within its wot(wide open throttle)max rated rpm.with your typical load.(usually on a label on the motor)gear rastio is usually on the outdrive.
If you give us the details on your boat and your present max rpm and speed
w a light load we can help tell if you have the right prop.And with better boat info
Mercruiser? etc and your prop numbers we can tell if the prop falls within that normally found.May or may not be right for your activities.
