I have a 2001 90 hp Johnson outboard with a 13 1/4 x17 aluminum prop on a 2001 17 foot mckee craft backwater boat. The wot speed is 37mph and rpm's are 5500. My question is, does this sound like the correct size prop. I am going to put a new stainless steel prop on and want to get the correct one. Thanks, Dave

Re: correct size prop or change?

Sound good, you are in the right RPM
Had a 17 dual console with 90HP rude and was running around the same speed with the same size prop as you.
Just sold my OMC SST on ebay for few bucks....someone got a good deal...
