Have new 2005 60 hp yahama 2 stroke, 3 cylinder<br />with only 12 hours. Was told to bring it back to dealer after thirty hrs for check up. Noticed that lower plug has corrosion and small amount of salt residue on visible portion of plug. Engine runs great. Should I take it in sooner?

Yes , you could void the warranty by not declaring as soon as a problem became evident.

it may or may not be a warrenty issue. depends on where the water is coming from. but do d take it back to have the hood and trim seaals checked as well as all other gaskets. the schedule is at 10 hours to retorque all cover and head bolts. no thirty hour check on that motor. its 10,fifty,100 and 200 as well as a calender schedule whichever occurs first. plus a daily before each use schedule
