I have a 40 amp. circuit breaker mounted with a lug to my positive post to protect my #6 trolling motor wire. This is a Buss metal clad breaker. Over a period of time, when I am charging my battery, this breaker will corrode. Obviously the fumes from charging is corroding, I have tried paint primers, grease, etc., but cannot stop corroding. I must keep this breaker as close to the power source for protection. Any ideas on stopping corrosion?
Thanks

Re: Corroding Circuit Breaker

Clean the electrical joint with a paste mixture of baking soda and water. Let it dry completely, then coat it with a product called NO-OX-ID.
