First off, thanks for the great info so far, this board is wonderful!!<br /><br />first question I guess, is this mariner any different than a merc....they are both inline sixes, why the two product lines?<br /><br />Secondly, no overheat alarm so I'd like to plumb in a pressure gauge...is there a takeoff on this motor that would show cw pressure in the motor. I noticed that there is an npt plug in the head....would this perhaps be what I'm looking for?<br /><br />Lastly, I just finished doing the water pump/impeller, I noticed the pee hole stream is much stronger...but one thing i didnt notice before was water flowing out of vents on the lower unit, kinda up and forward of the water pump intake vents....is this normal?<br /><br />Well, I guess thats it, thanks again<br /><br />James
