couple pf prolems on 4.3 volvo penta

i have a 180 horizon four winns with 4.3 gl inboard. the first problem is that on trottle when i turn the steering wheel left or right the boat starts shaking and the sound gets louder what might be the problem and when i try t take off fast the boat just goes off or starts to choock. and the last problem is that my steering wheel gets very hard to turn almost gets stuck then gets normal enything i can do? thanks alot

Does this Volvo 4.3 have a model number and a drive model number?

When was the last time the outdrive was pulled off and the bellows checked for water, ujoints and gimbal bearing checked and lubed, alignment checked and coupler splines greased???
Engine? Could be water in the fuel system. When was the last fuel filter change? Was it checked for water? How about a full tuneup? With that many different problems it doesn't sound much like it.


Has any maintenace been done to the boat?
