so i need to remove my 96 johnson spl off my wellcraft. i have the steering loosened up, the fuel line off, which leaves me a wiring harness..i have 4 wires with square plugs running from the splashwell into a 'terminal' on my powerhead and the wire to the solenoid and ground of course. my questions is how will these square plugs work this my replacement outboard(unsure of wich brand yet).. is there more electrical components i have to remove to install onto my new outboard or are these plus universial.. i just cant comprehend how im going to wire up my new(used) outboard. i have attached a pic of the plugs i'm referring to..appreciate any input!
