Hey guys I have a johnson 115, 82 crossflow. I need the electric fuel pump number for one that does not do oil injection if anyone has it. Ill mix the gas. Also the warning horn for whatever reason was removed. Im thinking Ill just run two tempature gauges, one for each head. Any one have experaince in this? Im being cautious because my last motor was blown from overheating on one side. Any input would be greatly appriciated.
Also does anyone know if they make a heaver head gasket for this motor? Possibly a copper one? Any part numbers would be helpful as well.

Is there some reason you don't want to reinstall the original head temp senders and use the horn in the control box?

Re: Couple questions on a 115

It has the temp sensors in the head, but pretty sure the horn at least is missing. Its a block for my four winns fling. Its getting all the 94 stuff on it. the fling had vro and now has some rigged stuff. Id like to get the electric pump and stuff back in it, but I dont like the VRO pumps from what I have read. As for the temp sensors, not sure there is a horn. Not sure how to get one back in. After the thing overheated last time due to a thermostat sticking, I dont want to take chances, no horn when it did it, thought it was supposed to have one too.

It was mounted next to the ignition switch. It is round and has three wires the tan wire is the wire that runs to the temperature switch.

To remove, test and/or replace the temperature switch you have to take the water cover off the cylinder head and carefully remove the unit.

You can test it in a pan of cooking oil with a meat thermometer and an ohmmeter.
