Ok, I have a MFG Gypsy 15. I got a cover for it at Wal-Mart. Now, the problem with generic covers is.. wel,, they are generic. And of course the generic cover that is suppose to fit is never in stock so you are forced to get something smaller or bigger. I chose the latter. When I got it on, and tied down fairly tight, I could see that the sharp corners of the windows were soon to cut through the cover.

My solution, and I hope this helps some one on here as I am in debt to the forums, was to head to the hardware store and get 1 section of hot water pipe insulation. It's a tubular piece of foam with a lengthwise slit that is made to be use on hot water pipes already in place. I just made a couple of cuts so as to fit over the side windows while in place. I will try to get a pic into this thread in a day or too to make things clear.

Total cost: <$5.00

Your solution is perfect. Heck I bought things from Overtons to accomplish the same thing and what I bought was basically some tubing with a slit in it. I like your solution better. The Wal-Mart covers are actually a pretty good bank for your buck. I also use one of these http://www.overtons.com/modperl/pro...Support&str=cover support&merchID=1008&r=view and it helps tremendously to keep water from pooling on the cover.
