This is a simple question - over the years the cowling on my 1993 225 Yam has become harder and harder to get to lock closed. Really have to slam it down, sometimes repeatedly. There appears to be no adjustment on the lock mechanisms themselves but it looks like the hooks on the cowling could be lowered a hair by just loosening two bolts each. Is this the way to do this? - I don't want to compromise the gasket seal or screw it up so that the cowling flies off at 35kts.....
