hi, have an 82 omc 5.0l; been having problems with engine bogging down: have an edelbrock 1409 carb installed new last season(ran perfect); this season have been experiencing a constant bogging usually after 5-10 min of running; tried everything from constantly changing water seperator and fuel filter, adding cleaners to gas tank, rebuilt carb, and running tank to empty, still same problem. so, i took carb off to check it again and noticed a slight horizontal crack; about an inch long and 1/16" wide; right on the front wall of left barrel chamber about half inch above that little slit where adjusting screw enters. Could this be whats causing the problem and if so is there any way to seal it with something?
