I am new to the site, and boating in general, I have a Bayliner Capri w/ a 120 Force Outboard, I was looking at the engine this morning and found a small crack in the section right above the lower unit in the front of the engine, I am not sure what it is or what to do about it. Does it matter if water gets in there or should it be ok. I will post a pic tomorrow of where it is. I have been searching on what to do and the name of the part, but can't find anything. PLEASE HELP!!!

That is the midleg and it has water in it anyway. If the crack is not in a stressed area and is not getting larger, then it will be OK. Attach the photo, though.

Reduce the size of the file then retry to upload.

The Pics must be below 100 kb (in properties) and you must accept cookies or etc. (I believe was my problem). My cure, reduce all pics below 100 kb and press ALT while uploading to override the cookie or etc matter. If needed, send me a private message, e-mail etc and I?ll reduce and post. I Know The Pain! The crack in my mid leg cover was due to broken rubber mount. Reglued with contact cement. So far it's holding.
