Obviously during winterization I did not get all of the water out of the intake manifold and it cracked the outer edge of the manifold under the carb.It isn't a big crack or leak.I was hoping to fix the crack and keep motorin along....What do you guy's think??? I had it idling for 20min or so and it seem's ok other than that area with no colorization of oil from water.

I found my iron duke manifold cracked along the lower corner about 8 years ago. I used a 3/4" light angle to cover the crack, cementing it in place with JB Weld. The patch lasted for 5 years before falling off. I cleaned up the iron a little better and repeated it and it has lasted well since. Some will be mortified and want to beat me up about it, but it's been fine. My worry was that there might have been a leak of water into the intake into the engine and do some serious damage, but no problem so far. - Grandad
