Bought with 3 long cracks(3") below exhausts, oil is clear. frost will usually crack externally where its weakest so i thought i'd give it a try. nothing to lose.
grind with dremel down to clean metal, prime with acetone, two coats of jb weld.
no pressure in system and it seems to be holding(2 months)
Its a party barge so stranding is not a problem but i'm on a freshwater lake.
Will post if it lets go but thought i would let you know it can work , don't know about salt chuck.

I'd rather be lucky than smart.

Cracked block QUICK STEEL water pouring out the side of the manifold where it meets the block. One stick of quicksteel then while engine running spread with spackle knife then 10 mins later no leak. Modern day maguyver

(heat helps quickstell to harden even underwater quicksteel has been used on metal hulls to repair from gashes to tears a must have in any boaters boats. It just may save your life.)
