Cracked fixture 2002 115 4-Stroke

Anything special I need to do the prepare my merc for winter? I plane and running with muffs, to remove any water, adding seafoam to gas, and fogging the cylinders. I want to be able to fish in the late fall, early winter and early spring. So the motor will only sit a few month I hope.

I'm not sure. I know that if I pull the boat up the ramp without raising the motor it drags on the ramp. Any idea what I should do now?

Do you think water got in there and froze?

If the strength of the piece is compromized, you will ned to replace it. If not, it may be weldable. it is likely forged aluminum.
