Why are so many peoples answers, cracked head/cracked block????

Very rarely does a head or a block, just crack!

They do if they are frozen or you have broken parts flying around inside. but only on rare instences do they "crack".
Then there is the main reason, usually a defect in manufacturing or workmanship. There are some heads that are prone to cracking but they fall into the catagory of manufacturing defects.

There are many ways that it can happen, but for the most part if has run fine all summer and then there is a problem, most likely its NOT a CRACK.

Done ranting now:D

I have not really noticed many of these posts. Now I will look for them.

Because so many peoples are dumb, and have NO idea what they are talking about when it comes to engines. Let alone marine engines. 3/4 of the people here that jump on post after post end up sending people on a wild goose chase and really have no clue as to what they are doing other than throwing out wild ***** guesses.
