Hey Guys,
Thanks for all the tune up help. Engine is running much smoother and believe it or not, it don't die.....

New question, noticed a small crack in the manifold. I have not had the boat in the water, but I have ran it on muffs 2-3 times. Checked the oil and it is NOT milky.....How long would it take to see the oil get milky if water was present? Hopefully I am lucky and no serious damage has been done.

That would depend on Which Manifold, on Which Motor,+ Where the Crack Is..........

OK. Sorry. 5.0 LX 1992 mercruiser A1

Looking at the engine from the inside of the boat, it is on the right side. The crack is/was on the end closest to you. About 1-1.5 inches long. I have already sealed it with JB Weld. I hope to make it through next weekend and then I will have it replaced. I have ran it on muffs a couple times for 5-10 minutes and so far so good. No leaking and no milky oil....

cscards, I would forgo the next weekend and NOT run it again until you get the manifold replaced. Im guessing it is the exhaust. in any case, the JB may last 50 years or 5 mins. in which case you will destroy the motor if it doesn't hold.. not worth the risk...
