I just picked up a pair of 1957 Evinrude Bigtwin 35s. Who said old outboards are addictive??? The 1st one is a good runner but the second has a crack on one of the compression release valves on the head, OEM part # 0304727. I think this is a pressure release valve. Is this replaceable or do I need to replace the head? Thanks Jenny

Hi Jenny,
I would think you could replace it. I may have an extra cylinder head for one of those (white, off a Johnson 35) if you need one...

I told you they get addictive, lol.

You can swap out the valve. Where is it cracked?
