Crane Scale Rental - How much does it weigh?

Trying to get the real weight of a boat.
Wondering if boat yard offer the service, or if uhaul rents a crane scale, or if it is better to go to an auto shop with corner scales and then weight the trailer alone afterwards.

Find a truck stop that has a truck scale. Weigh the boat and trailer and then just the trailer after you drop the boat in the water.

Wherever you get it weighed ask whether the scale has been calibrated on a regular basis and is rated for the proper weight range. Usually there's a sticker they could show you with the most recent calibration date. Also be sure to have some idea how much gas you have on board.

look up public scale in the phone book. a lot of freight services offer their scale to the public, for a small fee.

also NADA boats, list the weight of the boat empty out of the factory.

Also bulk landscaping or bulk farm supply yards will have a drive on scale too.
And the local dump too.
