I would think it is designed to put a sticky type lube into the cylinders and coat things to stop rust from forming. Nothing to do with decard. You need to use seafoam or something similiar if you want to decard. If you have already used storage oil, I would wait until spring to do a decarb or run a bottle of Cheveron Techron in 6 gal gas can, that should clean things up sufficently and help the carb at the ssame time. Just remember, advice is free :}
