Went into Window Task Mgr. and found "Creative MediaSource Go" running. I have an almost new computer and have no idea why this was running. I pushed the end task button to end the running. Have several questions.
Did I do the right thing ending it?
Is this a bad program and if so how could it have gotten on the computer?
If a bad program how do I find it to delete or uninstall?
Did "ending task" uninstall or delete program?
If it is a good program and I deleted it or uninstalled it how do I get it back?
Sorry for all the questions. Just trying to keep new computer free of unwanted and harmful programs.

"ending task" is Just That,...... You Shut it Off.....

Reboot,+ It'll be running again.......

I'm a Mechanic,... Not a Geek,..
But,... I'd recommend you Google up AVG Antivirus,(the Free Version) by Grisoft
This is the Help page, but it might lead you to the download page

They also have a Free Anti-Spyware program that's a Great Bug Killer..........

If you know what does not need to run at start up you can go into msconfig and disable them.A lot of stuff pre-loaded on these new pcs does not need to run at start up.Stuff like Adobe for example can be turned off.
Is it Vista?
