Critic my bilge pump mount location

Hello everyone, I am at the point where I am going to install my bilge pumps. I have 3 pumps 1- 800gph as primary, 1-1500 and 1-2000gph which are both my secondary/ emergency pumps. Take a look at the pics and let me know If I am on the right track. Nothing is bolted down yet, this is just a rough draft shall we say. Any advice is welcomed.

Ayuh,... As long as they're in the low-point of the bilge,...
Ya, that looks Great...

But what's with the little plywood panels,..?? They'll Rot, Quickly...
They're also raising the pumps a fair bit....

I was planning on covering them completely with fiberglass. I could use aluminum also, if I wanted. I wanted the pumps to be as flat as possible.

Do you have any other suggestions?

Ayuh,... I have some that are attached to small thin aluminum plates, screwed or riveted to the hull somewhere, 'n other that the discharge hose is stiff enough, 'n secured enough, to hold the pumps in-place...

Are my primary and secondary pumps at an adequate height?

Ayuh,... In my mind, Dead Flat against the bilge bottom, in the lowest spot in the bilge is Best....

Can you glue it down with some 3m 5200?

I can probably glue it, yes. I don't have much flat space either.
