Hey guys,

Thanks for the help in my previous thread.

I am trying to find a web page that will let me enter my OEM part number and it tells me what year and horsepowers it was used on. Is there such a thing??

I am trying to post an ad that I want to purchase a used lower unit for a 1994 Mariner 25hp. I have manually dug through the parts list and see that it is the same as the one on 20hp, some 15hp, and maybe even some more.

So, is there a site that says it works on 15hp 92-96, 20hp 93-00, etc...

Thanks,
Bo

Re: Cross reference Part number to year models.

Surprisingly yes there is a place to look up part numbers and see what else it may fit, it can be found on boat's.net
http://www.**********/parts/search/Merc/Mariner/parts.html

To use, find your engine parts, then click on the part number, then scroll down to a big list of other engine years, etc.

Also you should be able to put in your serial number to help find the right parts for your engine.

If you need your engine model number, you could try mercury part express with your serial number and pull up the model number that way.

Hope this helps, good luck.:)
