I asked this in a round about way on another thread but thought it deserved its own since I am still not sure...
There are several sites out here (shop.evinrude, boats dot net, crowleys, etc )
where we can find omc - oem info on parts.
My question that I am still wondering about is,
if you look up the part # and it gives a list of compatible models it will work for,
is that concrete and written in stone?
or are there applications that will work outside the box (or their listing) ???
are these reference #'s exact and only for what they list and nothing else?
sincerely,
wd
