Crown line 250CR w new 350 Merc

Hello everyone-
I'm in the market for my first boat. After you guys steering me away from a boat w OMC drive (thanks!) I've found the above boat.
Owner has receipts for new 350 Merc installed by a local marina w about 20 hours on it. Wondering your hours on this combo. I haven't gone to see it yet, but pics look like it's in excellent shape.

Also, for boat inspections, I've been told to get a compression test and survey. Anything else you suggest?

Seenin's yer a boatin' newbie, a survey by a Pro will probably be money well spent,....

Wood Rot in the hull is worth searchin' for, as it kills most hulls eventually,...

It's a 1997 w a new crate motor last year. Asking 12k. And I'll definitely get a survey and motor test. Just wondering what else to check out.

Survey will pretty much get everything that matters. Seems a decent price if there's no rot and mechanically sound - and it sure should be sound after so few hours on a new rubber band.

Ok guys- we are going to look at it Sunday and having the survey/sea test next week.

Anything specific I should check/look for on this one? I'm a newbie so use kid gloves lol.

Ask him if he followed the running in procedure on the new engine and if it's had an oil change since.
