Crownline 250 prop

I have a Crownline 250 1994, 7.4 carburated motor. It ran 5250 rpm with a 17p Mirage and 42mph. It also ran 5000 rpm with a 19p ballistic 41 mph. I have a 21p mirage i will be trying in a week from now. My question is what 4 blade prop would you recomend. I have to cruise at 4000 rpm, 31 mph currently and My gas milage is terrible.

The Mirage is better than the Ballistic for your larger boat. That is why your RPM came down (expected) and top speed actually went down 1 MPH with a prop that had 2" more pitch.
You didn't say which lower unit and gear ratin you had but for a 4 blade
you might try the revolution 48-857026A46
