Hi everyone ,
Im in the market for a brand new bowrider and these are my 2 choices so far ;

Doral 200 Sunquest or Crownline 19 SS ??

With a 5.0Mpi Merc or 5.0Gxi SX Volvo and same options the price is about the same on both ....> 36k canadian.

The fit n' finish on the Doral is superior and has more room but the over all look on the Crownline is just more attractive.

Since I have not tested on water yet , Im in dire need of your advice !

Personally I would take the Doral but that is just my opinion. Listen to what everyone else has to say. I have looked over several Doral products and have been impressed with all of them especially the fit, finish and durability you see with the condition of the older ones.

Re: Crownline or Doral ?

The web site for Crownline does not show either extended swim platform or wakeboard tower options. If true (be sure to ask your CL dealer), then advantage Doral for watersports. But I also like the look of the Crownline better. Tough choice. To make it even tougher throw the Four Winns 200 into the mix.

I have no experience with Doral, but I do currently own a Crownline. My boat is a '99 and is holding up very well and is in very good condition. The people at Crownline are extremely helpful. If Crownline is still on your short list and you have questions about a specific model, you may what to post the questions on the users forum.

That boat is fairly popular and you'll be able to get responses from people who have used it for numerous years.

Of course, you should plan on doing a sea trial on each to determine which you prefer.

After many many weeks of intense researching intense shoping and intense negociating .......

the winner is....................... DORAL 200 sunquest !!!

It was a hard choice but we went for the fit n' finish and more space vs the devlish look of the Crownline.
T-10 weeks before I try out my Volvo Penta 5.0 Gxi SX , Can't wait !!!!!!

Il'l update with pics and vids this spring !
thx again for all your post , this forum has been a great help !
